bullet  Medical Notes:

Red Lake Falls Gazette, November 5, 1903, front page:
Murder and Suicide.
Albert Jensen, living in Sruce, Roseau county, killed his sweetheart, Josephine Johnson, Saturday evening, Oct. 17th, and then committed suicide. They were found Tuesday in the house of Jensen lying cold in death and covered with blood. A gun, blood stained, was found which had been used to batter out the brains of the girl, and a razor and the cut throat of the man told the story.
Two notes written in Norwegian and one in English were found telling in substance that Josephine had teased him till he was mad and that he was drunk. The girl had evidently promised to marry him at one time and then gone back on him, which accounts for the awful deed. A coroner's inquest was held over the remains and a verdict in accordance with the facts shown was given. The man was about 28 years and the girl was 18.
